The Mayor's Health Reform Implementation Committee has launched a new e-newsletter, "For Your Benefit," to keep local residents and organizations up-to-date with what the District is doing to implement the Affordable Care Act.  DC has already implemented some provisions, including passing an act to provide coverage for dependents up to age 26 on their parents' insurance policies, and mandating that a certain percentage of premium dollars be spent on medical care.
