The Nonprofit Roundtable of Greater Washington is partnering with CompassPoint and the Haas Jr. Fund on a new national research project exploring the role of fund development in nonprofit organizations. To supplement the survey results and provide greater insight into the findings, we are inviting you to participate in a virtual/online focus group to share your experience working in the area of fund development, whether as an executive director, development staff person, or a board member.

We'll ask you to share your perspectives of the challenges, success factors, relationship dynamics, and staffing needs required of this important role. Your perspective will help to shape the research report and ultimately the nonprofit field. Please note that the focus groups will be recorded, but your comments will be anonymous and not attributed to any individual or specific organization.

We are specifically looking for individuals who fall into one of 3 groups which will be meeting online independently. Please note that participants must have access to the internet and a phone to join the online discussion.

Data will be collected and analyzed by CompassPoint, and the report summarizing the data will be published at the end of 2012 and distributed nationally to grant makers and nonprofits.
