Now that the Montgomery County Council has approved the FY13 budget and the General Assembly is wrapping its work, it is time again to hear from our elected leaders.
Join County Council Vice President Navarro and County Council Member Leventhal and representatives of our delegation in Annapolis for a conversation about
- the impact of recent decisions on nonprofits and the people who rely most on nonprofit services;
- issues that legislators expect to take up over the next year that will be especially important to community based nonprofits and the people we serve;
- what is needed to combat Montgomery County's increasing poverty rate and its underlying issues
