Our Mission

To build the strength, influence and visibility of the nonprofit community in Northern Virginia. Towards a More Just and Caring Community.

Each year, Nonprofit NoVA, through discussions with nonprofit leaders across Northern Virginia and in consultation with government leaders, identifies a number of tasks under each of the elements of its mission. We do this through:

• Influencing and strengthening the way nonprofits and government do business in Northern Virginia
• Serving as a resource to decision makers and a strong voice for those who depend on nonprofits
• Accessing and sharing innovations aimed at improving our work and achieving efficiencies
